Rainier – 1915

This is what the school looked like when I was in grade school (the large building just above the word “foto”.   The Methodist church is to the right of the school, across the bridge and up the hill.  I think the raised trestle is a flume on Fox Creek that they used to float logs to the mill.  The church and the school are all that I recognize.
